The Decatur Park District welcomes Colin Bonner as the new director of the MidState Soccer Club.
Colin Bonner is a graduate of Union University, Jackson, TN, where he was a 4-year starter, team captain and earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management. Bonner earned First Team All Conference in 2006 and Scholar Athlete awards in 2005-2007.

The Park District is excited about the background and years of experience that Colin brings to Central Illinois and we look forward to the ongoing expansion and improvement of MidState Soccer Club, our area’s premier soccer program for players who want to train and excel in the sport.

Please welcome Coach Bonner and his wife Alisha to the Decatur area!

Watch soccer on TV!!

Hope everyone enjoyed the first indoor training sessions and will be registering for the second sessions.  The HS boys age group has started training and the boys have been working hard and are looking forward to a successful season.  Remember anytime you can watch soccer games on ESPN and Fox Soccer Channel, I suggest you do so.  You can learn a lot from watching soccer on TV.  Pay attention to the moves they make and the players positioning on the fields.  The NCAA Division I Final Four will be televised this weekend on ESPN.  I will post game times later this week.
